A curious person with a drive to do and be good. Experienced and trained in elementary education with a background in music.

Bio

Caprice is a mother, an educator, and a lifelong learner. She strives to bring inspiration to learners in the classroom, while helping them build the skills they will need on their own journey of lifelong learning. Caprice has a Bachelor of Science in music, 26 credit hours of post baccalaureate university elementary education courses with top grades, Praxis – Pre-professional Skills Test above average scores (reading, writing, mathematics), Praxis – Principles of Learning and Teaching: grades K-6 scored with excellence, and student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom. She is currently enrolled in a masters of education graduate school program for Multilingual Learners, to be completed in June 2021. Caprice is ready for the challenges of today’s classrooms to prepare students for tomorrow.

(2018 – Present) International School in Germany

  • Applied for a special grant and received funding for a passion project to purchase 8 new instruments for the school’s elementary 4th and 5th grade performance elective course
  • Create and develop new performance elective course, exploring band instruments
  • Adapt music pieces for our small, unique middle school band ensemble
